Concussion?
Two general practitioners, a cardiologist, and a functional medicine specialist came into a bar.
Not really.
But these highly trained, clever people all knew that I’d fainted and fallen face first down a set of six wooden steps and was unconscious for several minutes afterwards. The first GP’s notes said “The patient did not hit her head.”
No one said the word CONCUSSION. Not once.
Go figure.
It’s ok, Dr Google and I figured it out 10 weeks later. I felt like banging my head against a brick wall which obvs wouldn’t have helped.
